Altering the school system

If I could redesign the school system, I would mold it after vocations. What I mean is that I would separate the schools to cater to specific groups of jobs that people want to grow up and occupy.

This would take place around high school. So basically, as you grow up, go through elementary school, and middle school then move to a a school that caters to your field of interest instead of high school. For example, if a person decides that he wants to be a Doctor, Dentist, or Veterinary, there would be a medical school to go.This way, students could prepare for the job they want head on. Also, if people were unsure of what job they wanted, than there would be general schools. This way they could still get education and access to the next level until they are sure of what they want to do.

  1. I like it. Lots of people don't know what they want to be when they're older until they're older though. I didn't know until I was around 22. I've seen cities that have occupation schools, but they're more working class jobs, like hair dressing and mechanics. They're good jobs, but I like your focus on Doctors, Dentists or Veterinarian. Maybe we could add teachers, lawyers, politicians in there too. Maybe schools could specialize in a number of these too.
